Porter Airlines adding Ottawa to Winnipeg flights

It seems like we can only go a few days without hearing from Porter about some new routes they are launching! The airline announced yet another new route today, a direct non-stop flight between Otttawa and Winnipeg. The once daily flight operated with their Embraer E195-E2 aircraft will launch on May 16, 2024. Click here to learn more.

Receive up to a 100% bonus when you buy Hilton Honors points

Hilton is out with a mystery bonus for buying their points with some members receiving offers for a 100% bonus. Personally, the offer I received only provides an 80% bonus. No matter which bonus you get with this iteration of the offer they are allowing members to buy up to three times the annual cap on points. If you have not bought any points yet this year it means you can buy 240,000 points and receive up to 240,000 bonus points for 480,000 in total.

If you receive the 100% bonus you will pat US$ 0.5 cents per point plus GST/HST. With the potential to redeem at these points at values of US$ 0.8 cents or more it can make sense to buy points for reward night stays.
