Buy World of Hyatt Points with a 25% bonus
Hyatt is out with another buy points offer and this time they are back to offering a bonus instead of a discount. When you buy 7,000 or more points (this is 2,000 points higher than usual) in one transaction you will receive a 25% bonus. This works out to 1.92 cents (US$) + GST/HST per point .This offer is available until August 11, 2023. Click here to buy World of Hyatt Points
If you are strategic about your redemptions and research them properly you can easily redeem Hyatt points with more value than the purchase price (redeeming with 3 cents or higher value) so it could make sense to buy them – but only if you need them in short order. If you have no plans for a redemption any time soon I would wait as we have seen buy points bonuses of 30% and 40% or discounts of 25% or 30% in the past – all of which provide a much better price point for purchasing them.
Hertz Status Match for Marriott Bonvoy Elite members
Hertz Gold Plus Rewards is offering a new status match for mid level and higher elite members of Marriott’s Bonvoy program. Titanium and higher members receive an automatic status match while Platinum members receive a fast track offer to Five Star status which has a requirement of 7 rentals. If you don’t have an eligible Marriott elite status remember that you get automatic Hertz Five Star status if you have the Platinum Card from American Express or if you have status with other car rental companies Hertz will also match those.
