Lounge Review: KrisFlyer Gold Lounge - Singapore Changi International Airport (Terminal 3)

After flying in from Ho Chi Minh, I had a four-hour layover at Singapore Changi airport before continuing on to Seoul, South Korea. I took this opportunity to explore the Singapore Airlines lounges on Level 2 of Terminal 3. The first lounge I visited was the KrisFlyer Gold lounge. This lounge is exclusive to KrisFlyer Gold Elite members, Star Alliance Gold members, and select partner elite status members.

As I entered the lounge, the reception staff greeted me warmly and scanned my boarding pass. The lounge had recently undergone a renovation and upgrade, it was now spacious and contemporary and offered expansive views of the airport runways. The high ceiling contributed to an open atmosphere, further enhanced by metal light installations throughout the lounge.

Walking into the central area, you will find a dining space with a buffet and a well-stocked mini-bar. Moving further inside, you will come across a bar table setup that you can use for work or group gatherings. If you turn right, you will see a cafe-style area with a lower ceiling. Towards the back, you will find a workstation area offering some privacy and quietness. Additionally, shower rooms are available for those who have extended layovers or want to freshen up before their flight.

The lounge provides a 24-hour all-day buffet, serving various hot and cold dishes, including congee, dim sum, noodles, chicken, fried rice, sandwiches, and more. The quality of food is exceptional, surpassing most lounges that I have visited in my travels.

Compared to the Terminal 2 lounge, I found the Terminal 3 lounge more enjoyable due to its larger size and greater variety of options. The next stop for me is the SilverKris business class lounge. Stay tuned for the review!
