WestJet winter 2024/2025 schedule sees big increases to Manitoba & Saskatchewan flights

WestJet’s winter 2024/2025 flying schedule will sees the airline increase overall route capacity by 9% with the biggest increases coming from Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Winnipeg will see the largest increase in WestJet capacity across any airport in Western Canada next winter, highlighting our commitment to meeting the community’s growing demand for business and leisure travel,” said John Weatherill, WestJet Group Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer. “

This announcement adds to previous news of the airline launching flights between Regina and Minneapolis, Toronto and Calgary to Tulum, Toronto to Grenada, Calgary to Tokyo increasing to year round service and more.

The new WestJet routes:

These are the new routes that WestJet is adding for the Winter 2024/2025 schedule (all were previously announced)

  • Winnipeg – Montreal 5x weekly
  • Winnipeg – San Jose del Cabo 1x weekly
  • Winnipeg – Fort Lauderdale 1x weekly
  • Regina – Minneapolis 7x weekly
