Earn up to 125,000 PC Optimum Points for buying gaming systems at Shoppers Drug Mart

Shoppers Drug Mart is offering up to 125,000 bonus PC Optimum points when you purchase Nintendo gaming systems by 9:59pm MST today. Depending on which console you go for, the bonus will be 75,000, 100,000 or 125,000 points. Avianca is adding Montreal to Bogota flights

Avianca, the airline who is famous for their huge bonuses for buying their LifeMiles miles that are then useful on Star Alliance flights (with low fees to boot) is expanding their flights out of Canada with a new route between Montreal and Bogota, Colombia. The new route will launch on March 31 with 4x weekly service operated with Airbus A320 aircraft.As the airline is a Star Alliance partner you will be able to earn and redeem Aeroplan points on this route. Japan Airlines Mileage Bank Life Status Points are here

JAL Japan Airlines Mileage Bank‘s Life Status Points are officially here. Life Status Points are their new sub-currency that are used to determine your qualification for JAL Global Club. These points accumulate over a lifetime (hence Life Status) which opens up the ability for members who are loyal to JAL Mileage Bank but may not be as frequent of flyers to eventually receive JAL Global Club status.

Life Status Points can be earned not only from traveling on JAL Group flights, but also by using everyday services that are part the JMB program however for most Canadians those poitns will come from flying with JAL (unless you spend a lot of time in Japan where there are many more options to earn poitns with non-flight options) Click here to learn more about JAL Life Status Points.
