New Amex Offers statement credit for Turo

Turo is the latest merchant to be added to the Amex Offers program with the following statement credit promo:

Spend at least $150 in qualifying purchases using your registered Card at www.turo.com/ca/en by 25/08/2024 and earn a one-time $50 statement credit. Registration cap applies. Terms apply.

Don’t forget about the special Turo offers from WestJet if you were targetted for one that provided 70 bonus WestJet dollars or a $70 discounts. Those offers need to be booked by February 29 and should be stackable with this Amex offer.

Personally I received this offer on The Platinum Card from American Express but you may receive it on a different card. This offer is also available to holders of Scotiabank American Express Cards who simply need to register for the offer here.

Langham Hotels launches Brilliant to replace their 1865 program

Langham Hotels is revamping and relaunching their frequent guest loyalty program. The 1865 program is being shuttered and replaced with Brilliant by Langham. There is one hotel in Canada particpating in the program and that is the Chelsea Hotel, Toronto.

The new Brilliant program has an earn rate of 150 points for every US$5 spent with elite tiers earning 10 to 50% bonus points. The new program’s elite levels can only be reached with spend requirements (Previously it could be reached on the number of nights completed). These are the levels and their associated benefits:

If you are an existing 1865 member be on the lookout for an email to have you join the new program and by doing so you’ll receive 500 bonus points and an elite status level boost. I had no elite status in the old program but have been offer Diamond Status in the new Brilliant program.
