Updated: The Ultimate Aeroplan & Air Canada Credit Card Portfolios
Continuing on with updating RWRDS Canada features that featured the HSBC World Elite Mastercard are our Ultimate Aeroplan and Ultimate Air Canada Credit Card portfolios. Both of these portfolios had the HSBC card as the recommended Mastercard but as the card is no longer available we have gone ahead and switched it out.
For the Aeroplan portfolio we went the Rogers World Elite Mastercard and for the Air Canada portfolio it is the Brim World Elite Mastercard.
In all honesty, for many of these portfolios the Mastercard option is open to almost any card as it is the least used of the three options. I think you’ll find that anywhere the HSBC card has been featured you can pretty much expect it to be replaced with the Brim World Elite Mastercard, Desjardins Odyssey World Elite Mastercard, MBNA Rewards World Elite Mastercard or the Rogers World Elite Mastercard.

Three new statement credit offers from Amex Offers
Three new offers came out over the past week for the Amex Offers program:

Personally I received several of the offers on The Platinum Card from American Express but you may receive them on a different card. The Saxx and truLOCAL are also available to holders of Scotiabank American Express Cards who simply need to register for the offer here.

Lynx Air adding non-stop Ottawa to Calgary flights in 2024
Not even a week after Air Canada announced the return of their Ottawa to Calgary route we see Ultra Low Cost Carrier Lynx Air also announce the route for next summer. The new flight will launch on May 17, 2024 and will be offered four times per week. With Lynx jumping on this route there will be four airlines competing on this route next summer.
