Canada's Largest Loyalty Program

RWRDS Canada to acquire major Canadian loyalty programs and combine them into Canada’s largest program

In an unprecedented move, RWRDS Canada, Canada’s premier and longest running loyalty rewards resource has entered into agreements to acquire all of the major Canadian loyalty programs and combine them into one.

“With this significant move to acquire and combine all the programs into one, we will have a virtual monopoly in the space” stated Patrick Sojka, founder of RWRDS Canada “and as such we can take the worst aspect of every program and deliver them as a whole to Canadians”

The new program, SuperTriangleVIPAeroSceneRewardsMoiMILESOptimistic (STVASCRMMO) will launch immediately across Canada from Coast to Coast to Coast (except in Newfoundland where we’ll launch a half hour later)

Program Highlights:

Flights

Members will no longer be able to redeem 350,000 (or more) Aeroplan points for a business class flight on Air Canada or use a companion voucher with WestJet. Instead, enhancements to the program will make it even better for members as they will be able to redeem the equivalent of 3,500,000 (or more) Aeroplan or WestJet points or AIR MILES for a one way flight^ on our exclusive airline partner: Flair Airlines.

^: Base fare only – the member will still be responsible for any additional taxes and fees such as Other ATC, printing boarding passes, seat selection, carry on bags, checked bags and on-board toilet usage

Co-brand credit card

The soon to be launched STVASCRMMO (pronounced “points”) Infinitely Privileged World Elite Reserve MasterVisa Card will offer earn rates as high as 50 points per dollar spent.

Benefits include unlimited access to airport bathrooms and lost baggage insurance coverage for luggage that isn’t black in colour.

A multi-million dollar marketing campaign will be launched for the card which will include a gentleman sitting behind a blue desk at a one of our blue bank branches lauding the high earn rates and we’ll make sure he doesn’t mention how those 50 points are only worth one quarter of one cent when redeemed towards any travel (Well, not any travel – economy class on Flair only)

Grocery store earning

For the grocery store portion of the program, SceneRewardsMoiMILESOptimistic, or as we like to call it: Fud*, members residing in Saskatchewan will have lower earn rates than the rest of Canada. As Canada’s bread basket, Saskatchewonians? Saskatchewonites?  Oh whatever, people living in Saskatchewan, don’t need to earn as many points as the rest of us.

Member friendly program terms

Should you break the program terms and conditions, or simply change your password, we will freeze your account without notifying you. You will still be able to log in to your account and earn points, so you’ll be none the wiser that we have frozen your account. Only when you try to redeem points will you find out your account is frozen. And then we’ll take our sweet ass time to get back to you and maybe, just maybe, we’ll unfreeze your account (long after any decent redemption events have taken place)

Wrapping it up

SuperTriangleVIPAeroSceneRewardsMoiMILESOptimistic (please sing this in your best Julie Andrews voice) is going to shake up the loyalty industry around the world by being the first program to take the worst of many and combine them into one. Delta SkyMiles? They have nothing on us. BMO Bank of Montreal? They have nothing on us. PC Optimum? They have nothing on…. well… actually, we are going to use PC Optimum’s customer service to serve our members so maybe we’ll be equal. 😉

Happy April Fool’s Day!
