Earning Points & Miles on these flights

You can choose to earn Royal Air Maroc’s Safar Flyer miles on these flights or choose to credit them to any oneworld airlines such as Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways and so on.

The Royal Air Maroc Safar Flyer program does not have their own co-brand credit cards in Canada nor are there any cards with conversion options so your best bet to racking up as many points or miles possible when booking flights with them is to use a card with a travel accelerator. These include the American Express Gold Rewards Card, BMO AscendTM World Elite®* Mastercard®* and The Platinum Card®

Redeeming Points & Miles on these flights

Royal Air Maroc Safar Flyer members can redeem miles for these flights either in full or in part with the program’s Cash+Miles redemption option. Safar Flyer has not loaded Toronto into their mileage requirement calculator yet but with Montreal requiring 25,000 miles one way for economy class and 42,500 miles one way for business class, it would be a safe assumption Toronto will be the same or a bit higher.

You will also be able to redeem miles from oneworld airline programs on Royal Air Maroc however at the time of publishing this post it appears RAM has not provided award seats to partner airlines yet (we checked AS, AA & BA to no avail).  Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan should require 27,500 miles one way for economy class and 55,000 miles one way for business class. American AAdvantage should start around 22,500 for economy one way and 57,500 for business class while BA should be 20,750 Avios for economy and 62,000 Avios for business

The credit cards listed above and many others also allow you to redeem points towards those flight charges once it posts to your credit card account.
