Aspire Amex Lounge Montreal

New Lounge Alert: The Aspire American Express Lounge – YUL Montreal-Trudeau Airport

A new domestic lounge opened at YUL Montreal-Trudeau Airport this past June, the Aspire American Express Lounge. Right now the lounge is in a soft launch opening phase with the official grand opening set to happen in the coming months.

This new lounge follows the current hot trend of companies sponsoring (co-branding) third party operated airport lounges. Here in Canada we’ve got the Aspire Air Canada Cafe lounge at Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport, Air France KLM’s Plaza Premium Lounge at YUL, The Aspire WestJet Garden Lounge at YYC and now we have the Aspire American Express Lounge. Which as you may have guessed is sponsored/co-branded by American Express!

Lounge Overview:

The lounge is operated by Swissport which runs the Aspire brand of lounges which can be found in Calgary, Toronto Billy Bishop, Ottawa and now in Montreal with this new lounge.

Here are some quick highlights of the new lounge with further details to come as the grand opening approaches!

  • Located in the Domestic Terminal (Near Gate 1 & 2 of the Domestic terminal, situated behind Starbucks and YUL Pizza.)
  • Seating for 100 guests
  • Includes table dining service
  • Grab and go service
  • Open 5am – 9pm everyday

Wrapping it up

It’s great to see another lounge option open up at Montreal Trudeau in the domestic concourse as that area lacked in lounge access outside of Air Canada’s Maple Leaf lounge! Access is available to most lounge programs found on Canadian credit cards with the best access coming to those who have Amex’s Platinum cards.
