Earlier in the fall, Maui began to welcome and encourage more tourists to return to the island after the devastating wildfires that destroyed most of Lahaina and other parts of the island. We have seen some travel providers like Alaska Airline begin to offer incentives to help bring tourist back to island and now we can add Marriott Bonvoy to the list. Canada’s favourite hotel loyalty program has put in place two offers, a discount on award night bookings as well as a bonus points+free night offer for longer paid stays.
10,000 point discount on select Maui award night bookings
Use your Marriott Bonvoy points to book award nights at select Maui properties and receive a 10k point reduction upon booking. (For example, a property with 80k minimum points will now be redeemable for 70k.)
The 10,000 point discount is available on select nights, so it does work out to be a potential per night discount but it may not apply to every night on a single stay.
