Air Canada Aeroplan continues to grow its partner roster with flydubai joining the ranks of 45+ airlines that are now part of the program. Based out of Dubai, flydubai operates 81 Boeing 737 aircraft to over 120 destinations in 54 countries across Africa, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Central and South-East Europe, the GCC and the Middle East, and the Indian Subcontinent.
Redeeming Aeroplan Points on flydubai
Aeroplan members can redeem points for travel on flydubai in both economy class and business class. The airline features lie flat seats in their current business class cabins but is also in the process of adding “The Business Suite” to some of their newest planes. These are due to enter service by the end of this year. “The Business Suite” cabin will have 10 seats in 1-1 layout offering direct aisle access for all business class customers and each suite will feature a door for additional privacy.
Redeeming points on flydubai works as follows:
- Flights will be priced based on Aeroplan’s pricing for Travel on Emirates grid
- Members will be able to book flydubai flights online at aircanada.com, through the Air Canada mobile app, or via Aeroplan’s Contact Centre
- Flights can be combined with flights operated by Air Canada and our other international airline partners
- Flydubai flights are eligible for redemption in Economy and Business class cabins
- The partner booking fee will apply for flight rewards which include travel on Flydubai
