Royal Air Maroc has a new elite status match offer in market right now via Loyalty Status Co. where you can pay to have your elite status from other select airline and hotel programs matched to Safar Flyer Elite Status.
If you happen to have Air Canada 75k or Super Elite status you can match to the top Safar Flyer elite level of Platinum (you only have to pay for Platinum lite if you like!). Safar Flyer Platinum status provides the top level oneworld Emerald benefits when flying on any oneworld airlines. For some of you if you are planning on flying any oneworld airlines in the first half of 2024 it may be worth it to pay the hefty application fee to receive this status!
The status match also allows top tier members of Air France KLM Flying Blue, Miles & More and Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles to match to Safar Flyer Platinum status.
All other eligible airlines which include the likes of Delta, United, Virgin Atlantic and more can match to Silver or Gold status.
For hotel programs, you can match to Silver status only.
Associated Fees for the status match
Application fees are as follows:
- USD $150 for Silver.
- USD $450 for Gold.
- USD $1000 for Platinum Lite.
- USD $1500 for Platinum Standard.
- Platinum Standard offers 3x complimentary business class upgrade vouchers on RAM.
Platinum applications are for eligible customers only and are limited in supply.
Application fees are subject to change without notice. Status Match approvals for all tiers have limited time-constrained validity until 30 June 2024 unless flight conditions are met.
Fees are non-refundable once the Status Match application has been approved.

Retain your status
If your match is approved you’ll retain the Safar Flyer elite status until June 30, 2024. You must meet the Royal Air Maroc’s the following criteria to extend your status beyond that date:
- By June 30, 2024, flown on an eligible Royal Air Maroc flight and earned at least 1 status mile from that flight and that flight must show in your Safar Flyer account. OR
- Have at least 1 eligible Royal Air Maroc booking linked to your Safar Flyer membership number on June 30, 2024.
