The fall out from British Airway’s changes to earning elite status continue to be the boon for other airlines as they look to snag elite travellers away from the U.K. airline. Next up we have Miles & More who have teamed up with Loyalty Status Co. once again to offer a paid status match for elite members of British Airways Club and Iberia Plus.
Canadians who have elite status in either British Airways Club or Iberia Plus can take part in this match which does not require any flight or any spend outside of the 99€ application fee.
Once approved for the match, you will receive full Miles & More Elite Status within 10 days and it will remain in place until February 28, 2026 (this is not a trial status, nor is it a limited time status).
Even though Miles & More is the process of moving to dynamic pricing later this year for flights on Lufthansa, Austrian and SWISS this is still a good opportunity to get Star Alliance status (Primarily if you match to Senator as that is Star Alliance Gold) which you can then use for flying on Air Canada within Canada and Worldwide.
