Scene+ have released a new bonus offer for booking hotels and/or car rentals via Scene+ Travel powered by Expedia. Members will earn six Scene+ points per dollar spent on all eligible hotel and card bookings which is double the standard three Scene+ points per dollar.
This offer is available for bookings made by November 4, 2023 for hotel stays and car rentals completed by January 31, 2024. The offer can be booked here
The six points per dollar works out to a 6% return on your spending as you can redeem Scene+ points at a rate of 100 points to $1 with most Scene+ partners or for Scene+ Travel. When you book a hotel via Scene+ Travel it will show you how many Scene+ points you’ll earn on the booking and as you can see by this example they do show the 2x points offer:
As you can see just from the first example, the Sheraton Toronto Airport you would earn 1,718 points ($17.18 in value) on the $283 stay.
If you want to earn even more Scene+ points on your bookings made via Scene+ Travel you’ll want to make sure you pay for it with a Scotia Scene+ Credit Card. Your best bet out of all them for travel purchases is the Scotiabank®* Platinum American Express® Card as that will earn 2 points per dollar spent.
However, you don’t have to use a Scene+ credit card for payment as you’ll earn the double points just for being a Scene+ memebr and then you can use any card in your wallet which hopefully is one with travel accelerator such as the American Express Cobalt Card
