The biggest AIR MILES redemption event is now here! As detailed earlier this month, the event will allow collectors who opt in to receive up to 35% back in value when they redeem their Dream or Cash Miles between July 19 and July 26.

The promotion is quite simple and valuable! Collectors who opt-in either online or via app (Opt-in is available as of today, July 18) and then redeem miles between July 19 and 26 can receive up to 35% back in value of the miles redeemed. There are minimum redemption amounts to receive a rebate and their is also a cap to the maximum rebate you can receive.
The good news is that the final rebate you receive will be based on your cumulative redemptions. For example you don’t have to redeem 5,000 Dream Miles at once to receive the maximum 1,750 miles rebate. You can have two 2,500 mile redemptions, five 1,000 mile redemptions, you name it. As long as your cumulative total falls into the one of the three tiers, you’ll receive the rebate for that respective tier

Get up to 25% back in value
Get 20 Miles when you redeem 95 Cash Miles OR 250 Miles when you redeem 1000 Dream Miles*
Get up to 30% back in value
Get 50 Miles when you redeem 190 Cash Miles OR 750 Miles when you redeem 2500 Dream Miles*
Get up to 35% back in value
Get 90 Miles when you redeem 285 Cash Miles OR 1750 Miles when you redeem 5000 Dream Miles*
Wrapping it up
This is a great rebate from AIR MILES, you can bet I will most likely be hitting up Shell during this period to redeem some cash miles! I’ll probably go the route of multiple not-so-much-gas fuel ups where I can redeem 95 miles for $10 each time (and get the 10 bonus miles each time for doing so) All it will take is three of those fills and I should get the 90 miles (35% back in value) plus 30 bonus miles for those cash redemptions and then not to mention whatever other bonus are available! But just on the Cash Miles side of things I should only end up using 165 for the $30 off over the three transactions. That works out nearly 18.2 cents per mile in value. Now, that’s a good redemption value, or rather I should say will be a good redemption value.
