Air Canada has launched an Aeroplan award flight sale that provides up to a 25% discount in the points required to redeem for Air Canada flights when you book by February 23, 2025. The discount is valid for travel completed between February 20 and September 30, 2025.
Eligible flights are flights operated by Air Canada (including flights operated under the Air Canada Express banner and operated by Air Canada Rouge) from Canada to destinations within Canada, and between Canada and the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean, South America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
There are some notable black out dates for this offer (Basically the busy and popular summer months):
- Within Canada, and between Canada and the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean: June 26 – September 7, 2025.
- From Canada to Europe: June 19 – July 1, 2025; from Europe to Canada: August 1st – September 10, 2025.
- From Canada to Asia Pacific: June 20 – July 31, 2025; from Asia Pacific to Canada: August 1st – September 10, 2025.
This is a great offer to be using up some Aeroplan points but do note there is no way to actually see what discount you are receiving due to Aeroplan’s dynamic pricing and no notifications during the booking process to indicate what sort of discount you are receiving. We just have to put our trust into Aeroplan that they are discounting these award flights.
Aeroplan co-brand credit cardholders and/or elite status members should also receive their preferred pricing on award flights with this award sale.
