Save 15% on IHG One Rewards free night rewards at the Staybridge Suites Montreal Airport – St-Laurent
IHG One Rewards discounted reward nights offer for stays at new hotels and newly renovated locations has been updated again (it’s updated at the start of each month) And for the first time in about 6 months we have a new Canadian location included on the list. With this offer the amount of points required for free nights will be discounted by 15% for stays at new and renovated locations around the world until September 30, October 31 or November 30, 2025.

Another Hilton Honors devaluation – top end hotels will now run up to 250,000 points per night
Hilton Honors has once again gone and upped the maximum number of points required for free nights at some of their most lucrative properties around the world. This is the third such increase in less than one year where the maximum amount of points you would have to redeem for a standard award night. It went from 150,000 to 200,000 and now to 250,000 points.
Granted, Hilton does not publish an actual free night award chart – all free nights are priced dynamically so theorotically they can charge whatever they like. That being said Hilton have unofficially had maximum caps on the number of points that could be charged and that is what we have seen grow from 150,000 to 250,000 points. Some examples of properties that other resources have found to be pricing at 250K include the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal and Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi.
Locally, I looked at one resort here in Canada that tends to be one of the most popular for Hilton Honors members, the Hilton Whistler Resort and Spa and the good news that location has not seen a price increase – it remains at 85,000 points for standard award night.
