RWRDS Daily Update – August 7, 2024: Four new Amex Offers & one more update to Neo Financial cards

Here’s your RWRDS Canada update! Your near daily dose of loyalty program, credit card and travel news, bonuses, deals and more.

Four new Amex Offers for Avis, Langham Hotels, UP Express and Auberge Resorts

Amex Offers have four new statement credit offers that came out this week:

Avis
Spend at least $250 in qualifying purchases using your registered Card directly at participating Avis Car Rental location(s) or at https://www.avis.ca/en by 06/11/2024 and earn a one-time $50 statement credit. Valid on corporate-owned locations only. Registration cap applies. Terms apply.

Auberge Resorts Collection
Spend at least $1,000 in qualifying purchases using your registered Card directly at participating Auberge Resorts Collection location(s) in the US, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Europe or at https://aubergeresorts.com/resorts/ by 31/12/2024 and earn a one-time $200 statement credit. Terms apply.

The Langham Hotels & Resorts
Spend at least $750 in qualifying purchases with your registered Card at participating The Langham Hotels & Resorts location(s) by booking directly or online at www.langhamhotels.com/en/ by 30/09/2024, and earn a one-time $150 statement credit. Terms apply

UP Express
Spend at least $9 in qualifying purchases using your registered Card at participating UP Express location(s) in Toronto or at www.upexpress.com/en by 31/10/2024 and earn a $3 statement credit. Limit of 2 credits. Registration cap applies. Terms apply.

Simply log in to your Amex account or go onto the Amex app to see if these offers have been sent to you and to register for them. You can find this and many more offers in our Guide to American Express Canada ‘Amex Offers’

Personally I received the Auberge offer on The Platinum Card from American Express but you may receive it on a different card. I also received an email for the Avis offer but when I went to register it doesn’t show up in my Amex Offers so it is possible the 20,000 registered card cap has been met for the offer.

These are also available to holders of Scotiabank American Express Cards who simply need to register for the offers here.

Update to Neo Financial Card spending caps

Last week we revealed the latest changes to Neo Financial credit cards and now there has been one further update to the spending caps on the cards. The annual spending cap for gas station purchases has been lowered to $6,000 from the initially published $10,000 while the Secured Neo Credit “All Else” spend has been set at $20,000 versus the previous $30,000.
