Here’s a bonus to check out if you are planning any trips to Vancouver over the next couple of months and need to stay downtown.

This offer prices the same as the best non-member flexible rate, so it is a little more expensive than the member rate but on the few nights I checked the price difference was $16 more for the bonus points rates. As you’d be getting $30 or more worth of points you would come ahead in this regard. Another way to look at it is that you are buying the points for 0.53 cents each (C$) which is a much better price than buying point directly from Marriott.
Also make sure to pay for your stay with the Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card or the Marriott Bonvoy Business American Express Card as you’ll earn 5 points per dollar spent on all Marriott stays.
