You’ll be able to redeem Avios for FIFA World Cup 2026 matches in Canada (and the U.S. & Mexico)
Qatar Airways is the official airline partner of FIFA World Cup and as such their partnership will allow for members to redeem their Avios for match tickets which will be held across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico in 2026!
The tickets aren’t available yet but you can sign up right now to be notified when they will open up redemptions for them! Click here to add your name to the notification list!
If this appeals to you, best to start racking up those Avios now so that you’ll have them on hand to redeem when the tickets redemptions go live with Privilege Club. Gor most of us it’s racking up Amex Membership Rewards points or RBC Avion Points and then converting them to British Airways and then moving them to Qatar Airways. Like anything to do with British Airways (or any other program in the Avios ecosystem) this is where the American Express Cobalt Card comes into handy as it is the #1 Avios earning card in Canada.
