Receive 15% more value when redeeming Aeroplan points for Air Canada Vacations packages
In addition the award flight sale announced earlier today Air Canada Aeroplan are also offering a short term promotion when redeeming points for Air Canada Vacations packages.
Members will receive 15% more value when redeeming for Vacation packages, Flight & Hotel packages and tour packages to all destinations. This offer must be booked by February 23, 2025.

Beware of Uber’s new preferred currency pricing that can cost you 1.5% more
If you are using Uber outside of Canada you should be aware of their new pricing tactic that sees them automatically charge you in your home currency (C$ in our case) and charge a 1.5% fee for doing so. This new “feature” is automatically applied to your Uber account but you can turn it off as follows:
Click on “Wallet” in the Uber app
Scroll down to “Preferred Currency” and click on that
You’ll see they’ll have you set as C$ as your preferred currency:
To turn this offer and make sure you are charged in the local currency click on “No preferred currency” and hit confirm.
