American Express Add a Card Bonus

American Express has brought back their limited time promotion to earn extra points for adding additional (supplementary cards) to your account.

 

This offer is available until March 31, 2025 on the following cards (With their respective additional card bonus + spend requirement on the supplementary card)

  • American Express Cobalt Card Earn 7,500 bonus points for each Additional Card added to your account, for up to two new Additional Cards. ($2,000 spend in three months required per card)
  • American Express Aeroplan Card Earn up to 10,000 bonus Aeroplan®* points for each Additional Card added to your account, for up to two new Additional Cards. ($2,000 spend in three months required for fee based card, $1,000 for no fee card)
  • American Express Aeroplan Reserve Card Earn up to 25,000 bonus Aeroplan®* points for each Additional Card added to your account, for up to two new Additional Cards. ($3,000 spend in three months required for fee based card, $1,000 for no fee card)
  • Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card Earn 7,500 bonus Marriott Bonvoy® points for each Additional Card added to your account, for up to two new Additional Cards. ($2,000 spend in three months required per card)

The bonus can be earned on up to 2 additional cards per account. This is especially valuable on the cards that provide additional cards with no annual fees which are the American Express Cobalt Card and the Marriott Bonvoy American Express Card

Air Transat adding fees for carry on bags on their cheapest fares

 

Air Transat has followed in the footsteps of Air Canada, Porter and WestJet by removing a free carry on bag with on their cheapest economy class fares (Eco Budget) for travel in Canada, to the U.S.. and the south (Excluding Peru)

In addition to that change, The higher Eco Standard fare class will no longer include a first checked bag for travel in Canada, to the U.S.. and the south (Excluding Peru)

All inclusive packages will not be subject to these changes, all of which will take effect on February 11, 2025.
