Condor Airlines cuts Edmonton and Halifax flights
As part of a larger route shuffle owing to Lufthansa no longer having to offer cheap connecting flights in Europe to Condor’s long haul routes, the German carrier is cutting their seasonal summer routes to Edmonton and Halifax. In addition to the cuts they are also reducing service to Calgary from 5x weekly to 3x. On the flip side though, Condor will be increasing service to Vancouver from 5x to 7x weekly
This is unfortunate news for Edmonton and Halifax as these routes were great redemption options for Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members in and around those cities looking for award travel to Europe during the summer.

On January 18th Hong Kong Airlines will return to Vancouver with direct non-stop flights from Hong Kong.
