Aeroplan’s newest partner airline is Canada’s own Air Inuit
Nunavik based Air Inuit joins the roster of over 45 airlines from around the world that are counted as partners in Air Canada’s Aeroplan program.
“This exciting new partnership is meant to deliver additional value when people travel with Air Inuit,” said Christian Busch, President and CEO of Air Inuit. “Aeroplan gives our passengers new ways to benefit from travel, including access to a broader travel network. This collaboration reflects our commitment toward continuously improving the travel experience, including benefits, for the people of Nunavik.”
As of October 1st, 2025, Aeroplan members will be able to earn points for flying on Air Inuit. The points are awareded as follows:
The partnership will grow beyond earning as sometime in 2026 Aeroplan members will be able to redeem for flights on Air Inuit.

The next AIR MILES redemption event is incoming!
In a recent This Week in RWRDS video I had predicted we’d see at least one more AIR MILES redemption event this year and it’s happening sooner than I thought! This makes me think we’ll see even one more before the end of the year after this one.
This next redemption event will offer a 15% rebate on eligible Cash Miles and/or Dream Miles redemptions made between September 4 and 17, 2025.
There is a minimum redemption requirement of 95 Cash Miles or 250 Dream Miles required to earn the rebate. Each collector can earn a maximum of 114 bonus miles (rebate miles) on Cash Miles redemptions and 1,500 for Dream Miles.
All collectors must opt in for the offer to be eligible tor receive the bonus miles. Opt in is already available on the AIR MILES site and app.
Unfortunately the AIR MILES Mileage Transfer option is down and out again after being brought back for a day or two about two weeks ago. There is no word if it will be available in time for this next redemption event which is too bad as it has almost always been down each time they do run this opportunity.
