What I love about doing the in-depth reviews like this is that gives me even more insight on the value proposition of a card. This particular card received somewhat of a lacklustre response from the public when it was first launched and what I can tell you now is it is actually better than even I first surmised. Like the Passport Visa Infinite card, the VIP card is a very well rounded travel card and really worth a look if you are in the market for an Ultra Premium credit card.

Hilton adds the Hotel Vallea Bromont, Quebec, to its Canadian roster
Hilton Honors fans now have another hotel to choose from here in Canada! The Hotel Vallea Bromont in Quebec has joined Hilton as a Tapestry Collection by Hilton property. Tapestry Collection is one of Hilton’s brands that is used by independent boutique hotels like the 72 room Hotel Vallea.
A quick look at free night rewards show points requirements starting between 42,000 and 50,000 points per night. The best way to earn Hilton Honors points in Canada is with the American Express Cobalt Card which earns the equivalent of 1 to 5 Honors points per dollar spent.
