This is a final call to apply for TD’s Ultra Premium Aeroplan co-brand card, the TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite Privilege* Card which will see its welcome bonus offer of up to 100,000 bonus Aeroplan points also end very soon. This offer is not being extended.
On top of the increased welcome bonus the card offers many benefits that make travelling with Air Canada even better including lounge access, your first checked bag free and priority boarding.
The offer states “Account must be approved by January 3, 2024” so you need to leave some wiggle room just in case you don’t receive an immediate approval. Even with that said, if you don’t receive immediate approval there is no guarantee you may earn this bonus as manual approvals can take up to 10 business days sometimes! I would hope TD would honour this bonus if you are subject to a long drawn out manual approval but that offer wording does have us worried they can give you whatever bonus is in place after January 3.
The 100,000 points welcome bonus on the TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite Privilege Card
Once approved you’ll receive 20,000 points right off the bat when you make your first purchase on the card. Then you will earn 50,000 bonus Aeroplan points when you spend $7,500 within 180 days of Account opening. This followed with an anniversary bonus of 30,000 points if you complete $12,000 in spending within your first 12 months of having the card.
We value Aeroplan points at no less than 1.5 cents each which means those 100,000 points are worth a minimum of $1,500 ($901 if you subtract the annual fee and only $302 after paying the fee in the 2nd year and receiving the anniversary bonus) However most Aeroplan members should be able to extract more value than that especially if redeeming for business or first class flights.
