Here’s our next update to the American Express Cobalt Card Confirmed Multiplier Locations with 26 new locations being added today from Canada and the U.S..
Thanks to the RWRDS Canada community for providing details on thousands of locations where you can use the American Express Cobalt Card to earn up to 5x points.
Even though we focus on the Cobalt Card for this feature it is also a good resource to see where Amex cards in general are accepted if you have one of their many other cards. For example, the vet we use is 1x point with Cobalt so I use my Marriott Bonvoy card there to earn 2x points.
New multiplier submission spreadsheet
We have created a new Google Sheets spreadsheet for our community to use to contribute the multipliers. It should make the submission process easier for both you and me! You can find the spreadsheet here. (If you don’t want your name tracked in the changes by Google Sheets simply log out of your Google account before submitting, it will just show up as anonymous!)
We will no longer update locations outside of Canada
In our last Cobalt multipliers update we asked the community if we should continue to update the lists for the U.S. and Rest of World due to card no longer earning 5x points etc. outside of Canada. Based on feedback from the community we will no longer update the lists for outside of Canada (today is the last update to the U.S.!)

Thanks to Austin who let us know Nespresso online doesn’t qualify for the 5x points anymore. This is one vendor that seems to have gone from 1x points to 5x points back to 1x point - And MCG let us know that Marvelous by Fred in Toronto no longer accepts Amex.
