The Canadian Red Cross’ annual Aeroplan promotion has returned for 2023. During the month of September if you donate to the Canadian Red Cross you can choose to earn Aeroplan points or have your donation matched by Air Canada.
Earn 100 points for every $5 donated
Aeroplan members who donate during the month of September can choose to earn 100 points for every $5 donated. From what I can tell there is no limit to the number of Aeroplan points that you can earn should you be in a position to make a large donation. This option does not include a tax receipt.
Have your donation matched by Air Canada
The other option available when you make a donation is to have the amount you pledge matched by Air Canada. This option will not earn Aeroplan points however any one choosing this option will receive a tax receipt for their donation. Air Canada will match up to $50,000 in total donations.
Donate $100 or more and have a chance to win 250,000 Aeroplan points
If you donate $100 or more you’ll be automatically entered for a chance to win 250,000 Aeroplan points. (Contest rules here)
