Hyatt has brought out another buy points offer and this time they are back to a bonus instead of a discount When you buy 3,000 or more points in one transaction they will provide 20% more points. With this bonus the price works out to 2.16 US$ cents per point plus GST/HST.

Is it worth it to buy points with the bonus?
This is one of those buy points offer that you really only want to jump on if you need to top off your account for some free night awards or upgrades. You’ll also want to consider this offer if you are able to find a redemption with a value of at least 3.5 cents per point (C$) since you’ll end up paying roughly 3 to 3.3 cents per point when buying them with the bonus.
If you don’t fit the bill for the above two options do not buy the points and wait for a better offer – Hyatt has and will most likely offer the 20% discount again (1.92 cents per point US$) or a 25% or even higher bonus.
