Buy Aeroplan points with up to a 100% bonus

Air Canada has launched their next Aeroplan buy points bonus offer and this time it offers up to 100% extra points.

If you buy at that 100% level you are paying 1.75 cents (C$) before taxes. That’s a pretty decent price and it wouldn’t hurt to buy if you know for sure that you can redeem above that (I’d personally set the redemption level at no less than 2 cents a piece). With business class rewards frequently providing value well above 2 cents per point you can see how a buy points bonus like this can be leveraged to save some cash on those flights.

  • Buy 4,000 – 29,000 points, receive a 50% bonus
  • Buy 30,000 – 55,000, receive a 60% bonus
  • Buy 60,000+ points, receive a 100% bonus
