AIR MILES’ famous Shop the Block promotion is now live and this fall 2024 version provides collectors with the opportunity to earn up to 825 Bonus Miles when shopping at multiple partners until October 4. Collectors must opt in for the offer to be able to earn the bonus miles.
The 2024 Shop the Block offer
The 2024 version of AIR MILES’ Shop the block offers bonuses as follows when you earn at least 1 Reward Mile at each partner:
- 3 partners = 100 Bonus Miles
- 4 partners = 250 Bonus Miles
- 5+ partners = 775 Bonus Miles
- PLUS, get an extra 50 Bonus Miles When you use a BMO AIR MILES Mastercard on a qualifying Shop The Block purchase
Eligible partners are
- AIR MILES in-store partners (Shell, Pharmasave etc.)
- airmilesshops.ca*
- AIR MILES® Receipts
- airmilescardlink.ca*
- travel.airmiles.ca
* all purchases made at individual brands through airmilesshops.ca and airmilescardlink.ca during the offer period qualify as 1 partner per brand
Combine Shop the Block with other offers
The Shop the Block promotion can be earned over and above other bonuses currently be offered by AIR MILES.
For example, today (Sep 20) you can earn 100 bonus miles when you spend $10 or more at Pharmasave and that will count as one partner towards StB.

Cheapest way to earn a Shop the Block bonus
Quite possibly the easiest way to earn at least 100 bonus miles with Shop the Block would be to:
- Earning 1 mile for spending $10 at Pharmasave (and try to do it on Sep 20 to earn 100 bonus miles)
- Buying and scanning one of the lower priced items on AIR MILES Receipts. For example $3 on green onions to earn 3 bonus miles
- Earning 1 miles for spending $5 on in-store products at a Shell gas station.
The example above requires $18 in spending to earn 105 miles in total (1oo from Shop the Block + 5 base miles) which are worth roughly $11. However, if you can hit Pharmasave on September 20 you’ll get 100 extra miles (make sure you opt in for the offer!) for 205 miles in total. That means you have a money maker as you would end up with $21.52 cents in Cash Miles value. (or at least you’ll breakeven if taking into account the taxes on the purchases)

AIR MILES Shop the Block has always been a much loved promotion by collectors as it can prove to be quite lucrative – especially if you are shopping for things you need. And the 2024 version is no different, it provides some pretty healthy bonus mile opportunities for collecting miles at multiple AIR MILES partners.
