AIR MILES have added a new partner that collectors can earn miles with and that is Turo, the peer-to-peer car sharing service (private car rentals if you wish!). The partnership allows collectors to earn miles on eligible Turo bookings and if you have never used Turo before you can earn bonus miles on your first ever Turo transaction.
Earn 200 bonus miles on your first Turo booking
If you are a new Turo user (you have never completed a trip with them before) and link your AIR MILES account to Tuor and then complete a qualified booking by November 20 you’ll receive 200 AIR MILES Reward Miles. Bookings with this first time offer will not earn the base miles described next.
Earn 1 mile for every C$15 spent
All AIR MILES collectors will earn 1 AIR MILES Reward Miles for every C$15 spent with on qualifying Turo bookings worldwide. To earn the miles you must link your AIR MILES account to Turo. For trips outside of Canada the amount of spent will be converted to C$ to determine the amount of miles to be issued.
Stack the mileage earning with other offers
During certain times of the year (like right now for example!) there are other promotions in market that you can stack to earn even more. For example until December 26, 2025 you can register your American Express card (if you are targeted for the offer) to receive a $50 statement credit when you spend $200 or more on a Turo booking in Canada. As this is on the payment side of things it does not affect the AIR MILES earning with Turo so you can earn both the AIR MILES and receive the statement credit.
Wrapping it up
It’s great to see AIR MILES add a large travel related partner like Turo to their earning roster. This marks Turo’s first Canadian loyalty program partnership in terms of full fledged earning as they have had some limited time offers with WestJet Rewards in the past. Turo also has an earning partnership with Delta SkyMiles that Canadians can utilize but as you can only pick one loyalty program to link to your Turo account I feel like AIR MLES will be the program of choice for the majority.
