Air Canada Aeroplan members residing in Ontario get ready to stock up your liquor cabinets, wine fridges and cellars. This Friday, April 7th members can earn double Aeroplan points on all online purchases.
No registration is required for this offer, you simply need to make sure you include your Aeroplan number when checking out at LCBO.com.
This offer can also be stacked with other Aeroplan bonus offers at LCBO. For example, until April 22 you can earn 1,000 bonus Aeroplan points when you purchase 12 bottles of the same wine.
Depending on which wine you buy the points can rack up quickly. I took a quick look at the LCBO website and saw offers of 25 to 120 bonus points per bottle of wine. It is this bonus that is doubled with this offer so if you buy 12 bottles with a 25 points bonus you would earn the following:
- 1,000 points for buying 12 bottles
- 300 points (25 points per bottle)
- 300 points (the double points offer)
Or if you buy any of the wines offering 120 points per bottle you would earn the following
- 1,000 points for buying 12 bottles
- 1,440 points (120 points per bottle)
- 1,440 points (the double points offer)
There is also an additional offer to earn 75 bonus points when you spend $50 or more on wines from Argentina.
Not a wine connoisseur? There are offers to earn up to 300 points on select liquors (600 with the 2x points) or you can earn 25 to 40 points on items like Tequila Smashes or Hard Lemonades (50 to 80 points with the 2x points)
