Air Canada has opened their newest Air Canada Cafe lounge today at the Billy Bishop Toronto Centre Airport. The lounge has been developed and opened in collaboration with Swissport who operate Aspire lounges in Canada and many countries around the world.
The Aspire | Air Canada Cafe as it is known is the 27th airport lounge for Air Canada and the sixth in Canada in Swissport. The 133 seat 4,000+ square foot location is the first dedicated airport lounge at Toronto’s Island Airport and is located in the domestic departures terminal.
The lounge offers Self-serve hot and cold buffet curated by local chefs with fresh baked breads and pastries, hot and cold grab-n’-go selections as well as a central bar with complimentary beverages and premium for-purchase beverages. The lounge also has free Wi-Fi and wireless chargers at almost every seat.
Air Canada elite members with 50K or higher status can access this new Air Canada Cafe as well as those who have Air Canada co-brand credit cards that provide Maple Leaf Lounge access. If you are flying Air Canada Business Class (Well connecting to Business Class) you’ll receive access as will Star Alliance Gold members.
As it is a Swissport Aspire lounge you may be asking if access will be available to others and the answer is yes. If you have Priority Pass, DragonPass or purchase access via Swissport you will be able to use the lounge. Recommended reading: Rewards Canada’s Guide to Business Class Lounge Access
