American Express summer acquisition campaign ends in exactly one week! The campaign provides massive bonuses and accelerated earn rates on eleven cards from their portfolio. Reminiscent of last year’s summer campaign which heralded the best ever bonuses on seven cards, this year’s offers are some of the top offers we have seen to date in 2022!
All of the conusmer offers are available until September 20 for new applications. The business offers do not have a set end date but we can assume they will be coming to a close at the same time. This offer runs similar to the one on the Platinum Card with the majority of the welcome bonus points being awarded upon meeting initial spend requirements. When you meet your initial spend of $3,000 in the first three months you’ll be awarded 65,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. We value Marriott Bonvoy points at 1 cent a piece (minimum!) so you are looking at $650 right there in your first batch of welcome bonus points. Subtract the $120 annual fee and you have $530 in value.
Remember though 1 cent is an easily achievable minimum with Marriott Bonvoy. We have had examples in the past that have shown values upwards of 3 cents per point which puts the value of the welcome offer on this well north of $1,000.
