First it was SAS EuroBonus, then Etihad Guest who were quickly followed by Ethiopian ShebaMiles and now we have JetBlue TrueBlue getting into the game of “fly to many destinations and get rewarded handsomely” promotions as they celebrate 25th birthday.
As of today, all current and future JetBlue TrueBlue members can take part in this offer to earn up to 350,000 TrueBlue points and 25 years of Mosaic status.
This offer is open to Canadians who are willing to take on this challenge! JetBlue does fly to Vancouver so that makes it slightly easier for those based around YVR to attempt it. Unfortunately, JetBlue cancelled their planned upcoming Halifax route which would have been a nice option for travellers in that region.
All that said, nothing says you can’t fly to a JetBlue city on another airline or better yet, if you live near the border, you can choose to fly out of a U.S. border city with JetBlue service such as Detroit, Buffalo and even Presque Isle (Read more here) for those in New Brunswick!
The up to 350,000 bonus points + 25 years of status offer:
Earn up to 350,000 bonus TrueBlue points and 25 years of Mosaic status when you fly with JetBlue in 2025. Book now for flights until Dec 31, 25. No registration is required – the offer will be tracked automatically for all members. Click here for more details.
Bonuses awarded as follows:
- Fly to 15 destinations and earn 150,000 bonus TrueBlue points
- Fly to 20 destinations and earn 200,000 bonus TrueBlue points (350,000 in total)
- Fly to 25 destinations receive Mosaic status for 25 years (plus the 350,000 points)
Just as we saw with the big offers from the other airlines this offer requires a lot of travel but in turn there is a big reward at the end for completing that amount of travel!
With JetBlue’s offer you have to fly to at least 15 destinations in their network to begin to earn some of the bonus points. Destinations are considered your arrival airport so if you are flying LAX-BUF that will count as one destination (and I would assume the return would have LAX count as a destination)
The cool thing is connecting cities count as destinations regardless of your connecting time so you may want to structure your flights to avoid direct non-stop flights and connect instead if you can!
Multiple airports serving one area like New York (JFK, LGA, EWR) all count as separate destinations as well.
These are the eligible flights and/or fare classes for this promotion
- Blue, Blue Extra, EvenMore® and Mint® bookings, including Award Flights, Cash + Points bookings and JetBlue Vacations bookings
These are the flights that will not count towards this promotion:
- Blue Basic flights
- Codeshare flights
- Non-revenue
- Paisly bookings
Wrapping it up
JetBlue has ramped up the promotions market by following in the footsteps of SAS, Etihad and Ethiopian with a big multiple flight bonus! This one is ideal compared to Etihad and Ethiopian (Which have lots of limitations) and is more reminiscent of SAS’ as all members can achieve these bonuses. Where JetBlue goes one step further than all of them is the timeline to achieve the bonus points as you get the entire rest of this year to earn it! Now, the question is, which US carriers will be daring enough to come out with an offer that can meet or beat this?
