Aspire WestJet Garden Lounge opens at Calgary International Airport

Staying on the lounge tip, Swissport’s Aspire Transborder lounge at Calgary International Airport (YYC) has be renovated, expanded and is now a co-branded lounge with WestJet.

Located on the Transborder Departures Level in the U.S. terminal (E Gates), the Aspire WestJet Garden is an extension of the existing YYC Aspire Transborder Lounge. It introduces an additional 90 seats, bringing the total lounge capacity to 216. Designed by Canadian firm Menard Dworkind (MRDK), the lounge features a first-of-its-kind interior garden concept in Canada, offering travellers a serene and elegant space to unwind before their journey.

The Aspire WestJet Garden is the result of a multi-year co-branding partnership between Aspire and WestJet. Guests can enjoy complimentary full-service beverages, an array of gourmet food options curated throughout the day by acclaimed local culinary partners, such as the Charcut group, along with high-speed Wi-Fi, charging stations, and shower facilities

Platinum, Gold and Silver WestJet Rewards members, as well as guests seated in the Business cabin on WestJet’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, are eligible for complimentary access to the Aspire WestJet Garden lounge based on their tier benefits. Rewards members will also receive priority on the waitlist.

Earn 500 bonus points per night at the new Hyatt Place Montreal Airport

As we see at the start of each month, Hyatt have updated their ongoing new hotel bonus points offer of 500 bonus points per night and the latest selection includes the new Hyatt Place Montreal Airport which opens on May 14. This in addition to the bonus also being available at the Hotel X Toronto and TOOR Toronto which we previously covered.

When you visit the offer page you’ll notice the Hyatt Place Mississauga / Airport Corporate Centre and the Hyatt House Mississauga / Airport Corporate Centre are also listed however those hotels aren’t opening until July so their offers will be updated later this year.

There is no registration required for the new hotel bonus and the bonus is available for stays until August 30, 2025. As long as you have your World of Hyatt number on your reservation you will have the bonus applied when you stay on eligible points earning rates.
