Rotana Rewards, the loyalty program of Rotana Hotels & Resorts is offering a free elite status match to elite members of ALL Accor Live Limitless, Hilton Honors, IHG One Rewards, and Marriott Bonvoy. Rotana is comprised of six hotel brands with properties primarily in the Middle East but they also have a few locations in Europe and Africa.
This offer is great if you have plans to stay with them but if you are not travelling to anywhere they have locations you may be asking why you should match your status and the answer lies with GHA DISCOVERY (As pointed out by Kai at Verylvke)
Rotana Hotels are set to join Global Hotels Alliance (GHA) during the course of this year and will be fully integrated by early 2026. The Rotana Rewards program will become Rotana DISCOVERY (basically GHA DISCOVERY) which means if you have elite status with Rotana Rewards you should have that status transferred over to DISCOVERY. Then you can avail of GHA DISCOVERY status closer to home at GHA’s Pan Pacific properties in Toronto, Vancouver and Whistler and the rest of the alliance’s 850+ hotels worldwide.
They don’t provide a mapping of the elite status match from Accor, Hilton, IHG or Marriott but they do state you’ll receive either Rotana Rewards Select Gold or Platinum status. And based on the required point/stay requirements in Rotana Rewards I would anticipate that Rotana Rewards Select Gold will become GHA DISCOVERY Platinum and Rotana Rewards Select Platinum will become GHA DISCOVERY Titanium.

Tip: You should be able to match your Marriott or Hilton Gold elite status that you get from The Platinum Card from American Express as the terms don’t request statements showing stays from the competing chains.
