Holders of the card can now receive up to a 15% discount on flights from most major Canadian cities to select countries in Asia and Africa as well as Australia & New Zealand
The up to 15% discount on Cathay Pacific flights
Cardholders who use the promo code CXNEO15OFF and pay with their Cathay World Elite Mastercard – powered by Neo card will receive up to a 15% discount on Cathay Pacific flights departing from Canada. The discounts also applies to Cathay’s code share connecting flights on Air Canada and WestJet from various cities in Canada. The code is valid for bookings made until December 31, 2025

Depending the fare purchase and the pricing at the time, this discount alone can more than pay for the annual fee on the card. Even though the little flag by the Economy Flex price shows up to 11%, when you click the fare breakdown you can see that the base fare is being discounted by the proper 15%:
Wrapping it up
It’s great to see this discount return for 2025 and made even better for select ticket classes especially given that the welcome bonus on the card has been reduced by 10% from 30,000 to 27,000 Asia Miles. Seeing as this card doesn’t offer much else in special benefits outside of the standard World Elite Mastercard benefits and only provides average earn rates, having this flight discount makes the card’s $180 annual fee a little bit of an easier pill to swallow.
