AIR MILES’ famous Shop the Block promotion officially launched today and this summer 2025 version provides collectors with the opportunity to earn up to 500 Bonus Miles when shopping at multiple partners until August 8. Collectors must opt in for the offer to be able to earn the bonus miles.
What is notable with this edition of StB is that you can earn a bonus by collecting with as little as two partners versus three! On the flipside, the top end bonus requires more partners and offers 275 less miles than the December 2024 promo. Nonetheless it is a valuable promotion that many collectors should be able to earn at least 100 bonus miles with!
The Summer 2025 Shop the Block offer
The summer 2025 version of AIR MILES’ Shop the block offers bonuses as follows when you earn at least 1 Reward Mile at each partner:
- Opt-in and shop 2 partners and earn 100 Bonus Miles (over $10 in value)
- Opt-in and shop 4 partners and earn 300 Bonus Miles (over $30 in value)
- Opt-in and shop 6+ Partners and earn 500 Bonus Miles (over $50 in value)
Plus you can get an extra 50 Bonus Miles When you use a BMO AIR MILES® credit card on a qualifying Shop the Block® purchase
Eligible partners are
- AIR MILES in-store partners (Shell, Pharmasave etc.)
- airmilesshops.ca* (excluding online travel stores and Amazon Prime Video)
- AIR MILES® Receipts
- airmilescardlink.ca*
- travel.airmiles.ca
* all purchases made at individual brands through airmilesshops.ca and airmilescardlink.ca during the offer period qualify as 1 partner per brand - Redeeming Cash Miles or Dream Miles counts as shopping one partner! (Maximum of one eligible redemption per collector for the purpose of this offer. )
Combine Shop the Block with other offers
The Shop the Block promotion can be earned over and above other bonuses currently be offered by AIR MILES.
For example, between July 25 and 27, you can use a card linked Mastercard at Kernels Popcorn, Lyft or Marble Slab to earn 100 bonus miles and that same purchase will count as one partner towards StB.
There are also the following offers in market right now which can be stacked with Shop the Block
- Up to 150 Bonus Miles when you earn with 3, 4 or 5 partners until July 31, 2025 (And should reset for August)
- 25 Bonus Miles when you earn at least 1 AIR MILES® Bonus Mile™ through Card Linked Offers.
- 2x Miles when you earn at least 1 Bonus Mile on ANY Card Linked Offer using your linked card. Up to 50 Bonus Miles.

Cheapest way to earn a Shop the Block bonus
Quite possibly the easiest way to earn at least 100 bonus miles with Shop the Block (Spend only, not counting a redemption) would be to:
- Buying and scanning one of the lower priced items on AIR MILES Receipts. Often times you only have to spend around $3 on some items! Such is the case for this first week! You only need to spend $3 on Zucchini to earn miles.
- Earning 1 mile for spending $5 on in-store products at a Shell gas station.
Using the two examples above would requires $8 in spending to earn just over 10o miles in total (1oo from Shop the Block + 2 or 3 base miles) which are worth roughly $11.
