Here’s your Rewards Canada Daily update! Your daily dose (or near
daily dose) of loyalty program, credit card and travel news, bonuses,
deals and more. This update is brought to you by the HSBC World Elite Mastercard.
Last week TD formally announced the option for the
TD Rewards program whereby you can shop with points on Amazon. The
feature soft launched back in October and last week’s press release from
TD marks the official launch of the redemption option. This is the same
feature American Express offers for those who are familiar with it.
All of TD’s credit cards
that earn TD Rewards Points (like the First Class Visa Infinite card)
are eligible and it allows cardholders to link their rewards account
with Amazon so that they can redeem points right at check out from
Amazon.ca. Per this thread on RFD the redemption rate is 303 points for $1. Learn more about the redemption option here.

Travel may not be on a lot of people’s minds – well actually it’s
