Two new confirmed 5x points multipliers for the Cobalt Card
Thanks to Uyamuya for providing the following updates for the Confirmed Cobalt Multipliers list:
- Fresh Prep Foods – Canada wide 5x points
- Oz Korean Cuisine – Richmond, British Columbia 5x points
- Edo Japan – Richmond, British Columbia 5x points (We do have Edo already listed as Canada wide but it is also good to know individual locations as some do not accept Amex)
Don’t forget there is also an Amex Offers offer for Fresh Prep (Spend $100 by Jan 22, 24 get $20) so if you happen to have that on the Cobalt Card not only will you earn the 5x points but also the statement credit

Ethiopian Airlines is increasing Toronto flights to 7x weekly
Ethiopian Airlines will be increasing their flights between Toronto and Addis Ababa to 7x weekly from the current 5x. The additional flights will begin on March 31 and are operated with an Airbus A350-900XWB. Click here to book flights with Ethiopian. (Source Aeroroutes).
Ethiopian Airlines is a Star Alliance member and an Aeroplan partner which means you can earn and redeem Aeroplan points on these flights. Anytime a schedule is increased like this it potentially opens up more availability for award seats and Ethiopian is an excellent option for reaching destinations in Africa and Asia.
