Marriott Bonvoy to offer Elite Status soft landing for 2024
Marriott Bonvoy is once again going to provide elite members who do not re-qualify for their current status level with a soft landing to one status level below for 2024:
- Members who achieved their existing Elite status again in 2023 will have their current status renewed through February 2025.
- Members who did not re-achieve their existing Elite status in 2023 will be downgraded. These members will see their new status starting in March 2023 and can enjoy their existing status through February 2025.
- Members who achieved a higher Elite level during 2023 already have a status expiration date of February 2025.

WestJet extends Winnipeg-Ottawa flights to year round service
WestJet’s summer seasonal Winnipeg to Ottawa flights will become a year round service this December. The route will temporarily end on October 29 and then resume on December 18 with 4x weekly service. (Source WestJet)
