In today’s updates for the majority of TD’s credit cards products comes the highest ever welcome bonus to be offered on the TD Cash Back Visa Infinite* Card. The new 10% cash back welcome bonus provides up to $350 cash back thanks to an increase in the total spending it is awarded on to $3,500 (in eligible categories) and an annual fee rebate in the first year. This is $60 higher than the previous highest ever bonus offered on this card.
The up to $350 cash back welcome bonus
In this latest update TD has also simplified the welcome bonus for this card. Previously it was a split bonus offering 10% on all spending up to $2,000 and then 6% on $3,500 in spending made in select categories. Now, we simply have 10% back on $3,500 in spending made during the first three months in the eligible categories of gas, groceries & pre-authorized payments.
In addition to the cash back welcome bonus the first year annual fee is waived for new cardmembers on the primary and additional cards.

Earning Cash Back
Once you’ve reached that $3,500 spend limit or the three month time limit the TD Cash Back Visa Infinite card cash back earn rates are as follows:
- Earn 3% in Cash Back Dollars on eligible grocery Purchases and gas Purchases† and on regularly recurring bill payments† set up on your account.
- Earn 1% Cash Back Dollars on all other Purchases made with your Card †
- Redeem your Cash Back Dollars to help pay down your Accounts balance whenever you please – the choice is yours! †
- Your Cash Back Dollars never expire as long as your account is open and in good standing
The accelerated earn rates of 3% is awarded on the first $15,000 spent in each three categories listed above, so you could potentially spend $45,000 across them and earn $1,350 in cash back rewards. Once a limit is reached in any of the categories you’ll earn 1% cash back on all purchases in that category. Unlike several of this card’s major competitors which only have access to cash back once per year the TD Cash Visa Infinite* Card lets you cash out anytime your cash back balance is $25 or more.
