Hyatt has released another buy points bonus! This bonus is the same
30% offer we saw in January of this year and with the bonus you are buying points
for US$ 1.85 cents each. There is potential value in buying these points
for select Hyatt stays around the globe as you can easily get more
value than that per point on the right redemptions. For example, when we posted about the reopening of the Park Hyatt Toronto we showed how you could redeem 25,000 points for a stay that cost $713 or a value of 2.85 cents in C$. Convert the per point cost of 1.85 US to C$ and you have about 2.37 cents but then you have to add GST/HST so you are looking at paying around 2.62 cents per point. So you would save some money by buying points – not a lot but it’s a savings nonetheless.
