In the short course of one month Air Canada has debuted two new lounges with the latest opening at San Francisco International Airport. This is the airline’s third Maple Leaf Lounge in the United States and 28th for the entire network. The lounge is located in SFO’s Terminal 2 and is the first lounge for Air Canada to feature an outdoor terrace.
The new SFO Maple Leaf Lounge spans 8,168 square feet with seating capacity of 165 – 135 inside and 30 outside on the terrace. For dining it has hot and cold food served buffet style and the bar will feature a bartender serving up curated cocktails, wine from Canada and California, and local craft beers.
The new Maple Leaf Lounge at SFO will pay homage to its California location both through its design and decor, and the food and beverage selections presented, which highlight local makers and flavours. Unique seafood offerings, including the iconic San Francisco fish stew cioppino, will be on offer alongside a selection of California wines, and beer from Sierra Nevada Brewing Company and Anchor Brewing—America’s first craft beer.
