The new route announcements from Flair Airlines seem to be never ending! In their latest news release from today the Ultra Low Cost Carrier is further expanding their U.S. routes by setting up a winter base in Tucson. The Arizona city will be served from five Canadian cities: Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Lethbridge, Prince George, and Windsor. Yes, you read that right, outside of their home base in Edmonton the airline is setting up cities like Lethbridge and Prince George which rarely ever see Transborder service!
These new routes will see service start late this fall for the winter 2022/23 season. Edmonton and Ft. McMurray will see 2x weekly service while the other three cities will have once per week service to Tuscon. Here are the route details as provided by Flair:
- Tucson (TUS) – Edmonton (YEG): 2x weekly, effective November 30, 2022 – March 24, 2023
- Tucson (TUS) – Fort McMurray (YMM): 2x weekly, effective November 30, 2022 – March 22, 2023
- Tucson (TUS) – Lethbridge (YQL): 1x weekly, effective December 1, 2022 – March 23, 2023
- Tucson (TUS) – Prince George (YXS): 1x weekly, effective December 2, 2022 – March 24, 2023
- Tucson (TUS) – Windsor (YQG): 1x weekly, effective December 1, 2022 – March 23, 2023
