We see the return of a 100,000 points offer for PC Financial Mastercards. For this version of the increased welcome bonus there is more work and spending involved to earn it. This offer is available until July 5 and is good for any one of the three cards in their portfolio:
- PC Mastercard
- PC World Mastercard
- PC World Elite Mastercard
The up to 100,000 points welcome bonus offer:
The welcome bonus is as follows:
- Earn 20,000 points on your first purchase at a participating store where President’s Choice® products are sold or at an Esso™ or Mobil™ station in Canada.
- Earn 20¢/litre in points. On a maximum of 400 litres in fuel at Esso™ and Mobil™ stations in your first 90 days. That’s up to 80,000 points
As you can see to receive the entire 100,000 point bonus it requires roughly $600 or more of spending at Esso and/or Mobil stations in the first 90 days of the having the card. Previous 100,000 point offers simply required you to complete part 1 so they definitely have made it tougher to get the bonus. All in all it is still relatively easy to earn this bonus – that is if you buy gas!
Those 100,000 points once you receive them are worth $100 towards purchases made any participating PC Optimum stores like Loblaw banner stores (Loblaw, Real Canadian Superstore etc.) Shoppers Drug Mart and so on.

A new 100,000 point welcome bonus is out for the PC Financial Mastercards that will work well for automobile owners who can gas up at Esso and Mobil stations. Out of the three cards the World Elite version of these cards is a decent points earner for purchases made at locations where you earn PC Optimum points but outside of that it is an average cash back card at only 1%. The same goes for the lower two versions of the cards – they aren’t the strongest in the earn categories.
