A quick look at the new Air Canada Aeroplan dashboard

With the new Aeroplan program now live the first thing you’ll see when you log in is an option for a tutorial about their new dashboard. I took screenshots of the tutorial as I choose to see what is new on the site:

The dashboard shows your progress towards elite status (or your next higher status level)

Here’s my actual progress for 2020 – as you can see I only had two Air Canada segments his year before the pandemic hit:

The dashboard also shows you what benefits you have available to use right away:

There is a transactions tab to see all your latest mileage earning and burning activity:

Then the family sharing tab – I’ll cover this in more detail in a future post as I will be setting up family sharing in the Rewards Canada family

Then there are the other tabs in the dashboard that weren’t covered in the tutorial like the status tab which gives you more detail than the main dashboard:

And then finally a benefits tab where you can explore all the benefits with elite status etc.

I must say I really like the new Air Canada Aeroplan dashboard! It is very intuitive and easy to use – way more so than the old system. Now as I wrote this post the system didn’t seem to be fully functional just yet and there were a few pages that seemed to be having issues. All of which I’m sure will be remedied quickly by the Air Canada team.
